On 16th June it was the International Day of the African Child. Zuia Trafficking Tanzania, were able to join in the local celebrations. The theme this year was "Eliminating Harmful Practices Affecting Children" Locally, this was seen through the phrase "Better protect children and stop abuse." This was the perfect opportunity for us at Zuia Trafficking Tanzania to be involved and help to promote this important message.
Along with this important message which was expanded on by the keynote speaker, the day also included entertainment from local organisations and a very interesting debate from the children's parliament.
